History

AERIA’s predecessor, the Dee Howard Company (DHC), was founded in 1964 and quickly established
itself as a high quality provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul, and modifications.

By the mid-1980s, DHC was performing VIP conversions and completions for large commercial aircraft

including the B727, B747, and A310. DHC’s conversion of a B747-300 for the king of Saudi Arabia
was the first B747 to be completed in a VIP configuration. It would set the standard for all VIP
completions thereafter.

After a series of sales, in 2002 VT San Antonio Aerospace purchased the former DHC. In 2011, VT San

Antonio Aerospace re-established and re-branded the completion function as AERIA Luxury Interiors.

Whether for heads of state, corporations, or individuals, AERIA creates luxury interiors that meet and
exceed our customers’ expectations. Let’s make some history together.
